December 2009
The first game in the series first appeared in late 2009. More than 12 million copies of the game have been sold since its debut, and more than 2 billion copies have been downloaded on all combined platforms, making it still the most successful mobile app of all time.
March 2011
It was the first spin-off game in the saga, based on the movie 'Rio', by Fox Animation Studios. After its first release in 2011, the game featured a bunch of new levels in 2014 when Fox premiered the sequel to the popular movie, 'Rio 2'.
March 2012
The birds went to space in this new twist to the saga. Featuring brand new characters and completely renewed physics developed with experts from NASA, Angry Birds Space was the first twist to the usual mechanics of the game.

One of the most successful games of the saga, it features the Angry Birds characters customized to fit the characters of the original Star Wars trilogy, taking mechanics from both Angry Birds and Angry Birds Space games and new abilities depending on the selected characters.
December 2013
After seven games that followed the same mechanics, in late 2013 Rovio launched a new game with a twist with a racing installment. It was also the first multiplayer game of the saga.
September 2014
The first game to introduce the character Stella and other female characters. It featured a bunch of new levels with the same mechanics of the original game, but with completeley new bird characters, most of them female.
March 2015
Released as “Angry Birds Stella POP!”, Angry Birds Pop! changed the original gameplay to new bubble-popping mechanics, where the birds are aimed at a bunch of colored bubbles that have to be color-matched in order to disappear.
July 2015
After eleven games, Rovio decided to follow up the original Angry Birds with a sequel. Angry Birds 2 updated the universally-known game and mechanics. A level map, multi-staged levels, bosses, an Arena and a bunch of other new features were added to the game.
October 2010
After the success of the original game, Rovio released a new themed version oriented to seasonal events like Halloween, Christmas or Valentine's Day. Since its launch, hundreds of seasonal levels have been released.

Originally released as a Facebook game called 'Angry Birds Facebook', it was released as an independent game in May 2013. It was the first game that introduced power-ups and other in-game purchases.

The first spin off to the Angry Birds series is this title, the first one where the birds are not the main characters, but the piggies. The game consists on a series of elements that have to be put together to build crazy vehicles to help the piggies get three stars.

Following the succesful Angry Birds Star Wars, Rovio released a second game based on the prequel trilogy and the Star Wars Rebels animated series. It was the first game that offered the option to customize characters instead of using predetermined ones
June 2014
The 9th title of the Angry Birds saga was another twist to the known mechanics of the game, turning it into role-playing. The player could select up to three characters depending on their level with different abilities. The game also added multiplayer options.
October 2014
After the Rio and Star Wars versions, Rovio, together with Hasbro, launched the Angry Birds Transformers game. It featured the original Angry Birds characters transformed into Autobots and Decepticons.
June 2015
After the racing and role-playing games, Rovio launched another genre twist on the saga with a fighting player-vs-player game. The characters could be customized with different upgradable abilities and powers.
April 2016
Based on the upcoming Angry Birds Movie, the newest Angry Birds game features the character design of the movie and a completely new mechanics based on a pinball game.
